Notes |
The
NLW is quite a distance from the centre of Aberystwyth,
on top of a steep hill - so make sure that you have
all that you require with you for the day, though
supplies can be purchased from the shop.
As with all major archives, the collections are
extensive so take time to familiarise yourself.
The staff speak Welsh and English; the majority
of the catalogues are in English; be prepared to
find documents in Welsh, English or (pre-1732) Latin.
Remember to contact the archive in advance to book
a seat, if you wish to view archival material. |
